The ICHRG2 is a limited edition Iceman series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2005. It is part of the H. R. Giger series with body covered in a graphic print of a portion of Giger's painting NY City IV. It was first and only Iceman-bodied Giger guitar. Only 150 examples were producedThe ICHRG2 features a mahogany body with a set-in maple neck. The neck has a 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with abalone block position markers. Components include dual Ibanez Axis humbucking pickups with individual volume and tone controls and a BR-EG fixed bridge and tailpiece.The IC400 is a somewhat similar model without the Giger graphic.The ICHRG2 was one of the initial products of the collaboration between Ibanez and Giger, along with the Iceman-bodied RGTHRG1. Both models were revealed at the 2005 Winter NAMM show.
